Nichole Higuera - Office Lead
Nichole knew as a young teenager that she wanted to be in the dental field and she’s happy to say that working at Palo Verde Dental has lived up to her expectations. She is known as the Go-To Girl in the office, especially when it comes to verifying and maximizing patient’s dental benefits. It’s her way of giving back and following her dream of helping people.
Nicole actively works to help her patients reach their oral health goals – whatever they may be. Nicole is very outgoing and when she’s not in the office loves to sing, spend time with her family and play with her two yorkshire terriers. As a lover of the outdoors, Nicole will spend all day driving to a beautiful scenic area just to enjoy the view.
Maggie Thomas - Assistant Dental Assistant
Maggie confesses she actually wanted to be in the hospitality business. But with 2 uncles and an aunt who are dentists and her Mom who was a dental assistant, the only way to keep up with family dinner conversations was to “drink the kool-aid” and become a dental hygienist.
Maggie is energized by taking care of her patients and can often be seen dancing and singing around the office to oldies on the radio. Building relationships with her patients and getting to know them better will always keep Maggie smiling. When she’s not with patients, Maggie loves to ride her Harley, play with her dogs and spend time with family.
She believes giving back to her community is important and counts her volunteer work with seniors among her most precious memories. When Maggie wants to get away from it all, she enjoys camping with friends.
Blanca Alegria - Lead Dental Assistant
Blanca loves working with patients and feels it’s important that they have a positive experience. Her priority, for 20-plus years, has always been to make every patient feel comfortable and know their well-being is her #1 priority.
When Blanca is not working with patients, she can be found cooking, sharing recipes or watching movies with her family and friends. She is currently building memories with her children by volunteering often at their school and watching her boys play baseball while her husband coaches. Blanca’s profession and her family are the two great passions in her life.
